Chelsea Marie, 34, of Norwood, MA, passed away peacefully on May 11th at her mother's home.

Born on October 16, 1991, at Norwood Hospital, she was the beloved daughter of Darlene M. Keane and Paul L. Haigh.

A proud graduate of Fitchburg State University, Chelsea earned her Bachelor of Science degree, Cum Laude, in 2015. She was remarkably smart and effortlessly witty. Someone whose quick humor and sharp mind could light up a room.

Chelsea had a deep love for animals and a kindness that touched everyone who knew her. In her childhood, she cherished fishing, boating, swimming, and camping at the Cape and local lakes with her family. She spent many years visiting Florida, where she fell in love with the sunshine, warm weather, and beaches. On a recent trip, she was delighted in seeing her first wild alligator—an experience she excitedly shared with those close to her.

She had been planning to move back to Florida full-time.

Chelsea is survived by her mother, Darlene Keane; her father, Paul Haigh; her stepfather, John Keane; her stepmother, Candy Bianco; her brother, Corey Haigh; and a host of beloved cousins and extended family.

A Visitation at Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood, MA 02062, will be held on Thursday, May 21st from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Chelsea will be remembered for her warmth, humor, intelligence, and the love she shared so freely. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family and friends.
