Norwood "stocking up" for Saturday's fishing derby

Norwood Selectman and organizer of the 36th annual Norwood Fishing Derby at Hawes Pond in South Norwood said the fish are looking good this year.

He and several volunteers - and two members of the Norwood Police Department - stocked the pond with fish from Darlene's truck (Gilbert Trout Hatchery, Plymouth), throwing in some monster Brook Trout, Tiger Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and of course, the Golden Trout.

The Derby is this Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m
