Michael Saad seeks re-election to Board of Selectman
I am excited to announce that I am running for a second term on the Board of Selectman.
During the last three years Norwood has faced many challenges that I have worked on, including continuing the search for a new owner of Norwood Hospital, completing the Factory Mutual worldwide headquarters, maintaining a tax rate that is envied by surrounding towns, working to find a solution to our water runoff issues, and helping to maintain the quality of life that make Norwood “The Crown Jewel of the Commonwealth.” But there is still much to do. Like many communities, Norwood is facing budget, building, housing, roadwork, education and other challenges that if not addressed will change the character of our town forever. Whether you know me as a coach for youth sports, the organizer of the South Norwood Fishing Derby, from work upgrading the Balch School, or my time as a volunteer with the Jaycees, the 4th of July Parade Chair or a town meeting member I hope you know me as someone who likes to get things done and have fun doing it. I ask for your vote on Monday, April 6, 2026 so I can continue to work hard to keep Norwood “the place everyone wants to come home to.” And most importantly, I want to make Norwood healthy again by completing construction, finding an operator and re-opening Norwood hospital as soon as possible.
