CONNOLLY

Terrence J. Connolly of Walpole and formerly of Norwood, passed away at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on Sunday, March 8, 2026 following a long illness. He was 63.

Born in Newton, he was the son of the late Mary L. (Quinton) and Francis M. Connolly. Terrence was a 1981 graduate of Norwood High School. After serving a term in the United States Coast Guard, Terrence served with the Norwood Police Department for over 30 years until his retirement several years ago. He was a long-time member of Wampatuck Country Club.

Terrence was the beloved husband of Lori (Coffey) Connolly, and the devoted father and biggest fan of Christopher and Kaitlyn Connolly, all of Walpole. He was the loving brother of Michael Connolly of Norwood, Paula and her husband John Glossa of Walpole, and Brenda and her husband Steven Usina of Fort Mill, SC. Terrence was the son in-law of Carole C. Coffey of Norwood, and the late Kenneth F. Coffey, the brother in-law of John J. Coffey and his wife Carrie of Walpole, and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Norwood on Friday March 13. Interment was at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Arrangements were in the care of Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood.
